SandyS why might you accept Stewgreen's definitions or beliefs that specified political parties are right or left wing (with varying degrees of far-ness)? UKIP is considered not to be a far right party by Stewgreen and it's true that UKIP has supporters from right across the political spectrum. What is as important, however, is that UKIP has been supported by identified far-right individuals or organizations, who support no other party, and their support has not been denied nor rejected. The same is true of Trump's supporters; they included far-right organisations like the KKK and this support was accepted. One tends to be judged by one's friends, especially if you don't refute those you don't wish to be associated with.

ACK: You tell us of your left-leaning tendencies while also telling us that we should abjure left/right labels. You then go on to smear Trump by repeating the myth that he accepts the support of the KKK - when he is on record as not accepting. That said, it is also a fact that Ku Klux Klan Grand Dragon Will Quigg Endorsed Hillary Clinton for President. Now, I guess she did not welcome that endorsement but it would be easy - and lazy - to characterise her as a KKK sympathiser.

And, you know, I never figured you for someone who liked to go low. Guess I was wrong.

ACK: Facetious argument. One can not chose who supports them. Your argument means if KKK or BNP supporters buy Cadburys' Fairtrade products, then Cadburys supports KKK and BNP. Do you see how stupid your argument is? I guess not as virtue signalling is more important than fact for too many.

ACK, you have stooped to a new low in your support of the left and denigration of what you perceive as "the right".

ACK, do you support the North Wales Police & Crime Commissioner's campaign to close all right-wing press?

The only point of disagreement I have is that the Parliamentary Labour Party is not controlled by Momentum nor (if push comes to shove) by the Executive.

So why are so many Labour MPs so frightened of being deselected by their loyal constituency parties? As we currently have a Tory Prime Minister who I am generally ok with, trying to steer a sensible BREXIT strategy, that I hope will be for the best for the UK, it does not worry me now, that there is no credible opposition, and still won't be at the time of the next UK General Election. But no one predicted the events of 2016, and it ain't over yet!

Ravishing Rattie, Oh my head hurts, can't work through the logic tangle. All I wanted to convey is that political parties can become labelled on the basis of who 1) they consort with or 2) they do not deny relationships with.

Special BBC progs tonight here for BBC Windfarms-In-Greed night
..The first 10 minutes of BBC Look North here has been given over to a promotion for Siemens and Dong Energy

Currently they are flying over offshore in a CO2 spewing helicopter
to do hyperbolic coverage about the offshore windfarm subsidised by us .... to REDUCE CO2.

This morning they had coverage from the Siemens factory where 3 x20 storey turbines have already been assembled
ahead of the official factory launch in 2 weeks time.
Local residents complained new large fences have blocked the river views

Sunday politics BBC1 at 11am will be Energy Special
Features 2 UKIPPers (Suzanne Evans and Paul Nuttall MEP) and (Remainiac) James McGrory of Open Britain

One interesting point to make about the KKK is that it was a Democrat construct – indeed, there are photos around of Clinton actually embracing KKK senior officials. Has Trump ever met with any openly KKK people?

If you are KKK, and you want to discredit your friend’s opponent, can you think of a way that could do that, that would be lapped up eagerly by the media?

golfCharlie. If you carefully read what I have written you will find you are making my point for me.

The only point of disagreement I have is that the Parliamentary Labour Party is not controlled by Momentum nor (if push comes to shove) by the Executive.
