That's an interesting link, particularly the BBC/Savile link.

Strange times indeed.

And the best of good wishes to you Big Oil. May the inflammation of your spleen get better.

Sandy (9.23am): It is puzzling, but this is the last few weeks where the neo-cons will likely have influence in the Whitehouse, and this is likely their last waltz. See this interview with Paul Craig Roberts (former Reagan staffer) for some context. The Russian hacking allegations are also a good distraction from what the media should be investigating - the possibility of a long running pedophile ring in Washington. You won't find much or any mention of this in the mainstream media though - indeed the NY Times, WashPo and ABC even deleted the little coverage they had given to the recent Norwegian pedophile ring convictions - Norwegian pedophile ring cover-up. We live in strange times.

A good opinion piece by James Dellingpole in the DM online.

How is it that those in power cannot see the obvious truth spelled out in this compelling article ?

I find the fuss about Russian hacking (if it was Russian) a bit puzzling. All nations spy on each other and interfere in the political process. The Americans have a long history of messing in other peoples politics as do the British and French. Why the surprise if it turns out to be the biter bit?

I'm with you geronimo.
Oh dear! I've let my opinion show.
But if the Ruskies were involved and did try to influence the election result, isn't that almost an act of war? Why is almost everyone here convinced they weren't involved?
Are ALL the US intelligence agencies wrong and incompetent?
More questions to which I have no answers.

"...do you think emails between Republicans (especially Trump supporters) would be squeaky clean and withstand any investigation?"

I've no idea, butt the notion that Hillary lost because of leaked emails is weird, given her impeccable incompetence as SoS, her mendacity and here well documented abusive ill-manners to her inferiors is implausible. She was a bad candidate.
