Our Community Energy· Facebook
\\ With target returns of up to 8% isn’t it time you invested ethically in renewable wind energy?
Capital at risk, returns not guaranteed. //

Invest in renewable energy and help reduce fuel poverty
Our Community Energy, established by Mongoose Energy and not-for-profit Scottish energy supplier Our Power, is giving you the chance to invest in two community-owned wind farms in Pogbie, East Lothian and Brockholes, Berwickshire.
Totalling over £3 million, these new investments are Innovative Finance ISA eligible, aim to return up to 8.1% (RPI linked) to investors and will use surplus profits to help make energy bills fairer for those most in need.

(£3 million is obviously tiny in energy market terms..proper projects cost like £1bn)
So who's in the team of FOR PROFIT Mongoose energy ? Our Team
Chairman : Sir Ed Davey – Ed is a trained economist
CEO : Jan-Willem Bode – CEO
CEO : Mark Kenber (photo part of the page)

Is that OK ?
Irony #1 Minister who promoted such schemes , now Chairman of a corp which profits from them
Irony #2 Every such scheme added to the electricity network has to increase the overall cost of electricity and therefore the cost of everything you pay for directly/indirectly eg NHS services
..yet their PR says "help reduce fuel poverty"

Southwest Airlines: this is second failure of the same make of engine in two years. So — like United Airlines mistreating or misrouting dogs — the media are looking for a pattern, a meme, a way to write articles guaranteed to run on the Front Page.

2016: Southwest Airlines Co clashed with engine-maker CFM over the timing and cost of proposed inspections after a 2016 engine accident….Southwest thought the FAA had “vastly understated” the number of engines that would need to be inspected – and therefore the cost.

CFM - Lesson to learn: don't buy products French engineers have been involved with. AF Concorde crash was warning - French failures were abundant.

I was surprised engine cover had GE logo on it. GE should remove that asap to protect their brand. It was instantly gone from Tony Fernandes' Lotus F1 when he exited.

By Alan Caruba

"It is no accident that April 22, Earth Day, is also the birth date of Vladimir Lenin, an acolyte of Karl Marx, the lunatic who invented communism as an alternative to capitalism.

Earth Day is naked communism. "

Oh Shuckman has answered my point that Bandung plastic situation would be a lot better if #MarieAntoinette rich kids and foreign NGOs didn't keep blocking incinerator projects
He said "Any solution involves trade-offs.
Officials in Banding told me the incinerator plan was taking shape"

OK, he didn't block me at first opp, so that's a start ..he replied to one other person also

Google "Tesla suspension failure"

This from 2016

https://www.nytimes.com/2016/06/10/business/tesla-model-s-nhtsa-suspension-failure.html

"Tesla did not respond Thursday to requests for comment. [On Friday, the company responded in a blog post, saying there was no safety defect with the Model S nor any intent to discourage complaints to regulators.]"

If Tesla state there is no safety defect associated with parts of their cars going in different directions, we must accept their experience.
