Now we hear that radioactive iodine has been detected in Glasgow. By monitors left rusting after the cold war ;) It is safe to say that the leak from Fukushima is detectable around the world but only because detectors were designed to be so sensitive that they would be able to discover every sly underground testing.

We just have to accept that these stories always build up and just stop when the overblown rhetoric runs out.
