In the news today
The Guardian reports on the vast risk-free profits made by wealthy titled landowners as a result of the windfarm revolution that the Guardian itself has done so much to bring about through its incessant harping on about the dangers of climate change.
In unrelated news, I understand that Mike Kelly has an article a letter in the Times today. Richard Horton (of Russell inquiry fame) tweets:
A Cambridge Prof of Technology writes in The Times today that climate change "science has been consistently over-egged to produce alarm."
Prof Michael Kelly writes, "All real-word data over the past 20 years has shown the climate models to be exaggerating the likely impacts."
The letter is here.

"Can we take conversations about firearms to the discussion board please."
That made me spray my tea over the computer screen. 8-)
"But how do I know if you are not lying again?" can be and will be asked.
No way to build a case or have a debate.
Talk about shooting yourself in your foot with a cannon.
A Cannon? Please see the Bishop's direction on firearms ;-)
Gixxerboy/Don Pablo. Be careful, the Bishop doesn't mess around with small arms, he's a heavy hitter :

I agree with you that we in the US are also getting screwed, but like beating a good natured dog with teeth it could bite back with consequence. A dog with no teeth would have the option of being beaten or running away if that were possible.
A thief or thieves would have no fear of a dog without teeth. Barking would only be an irritant, not necessarily a deterrent. Freemen with household utensils could be like a good natured dog with teeth.
But the above analogy was not the point in my earlier post. A select few are dictating failed energy policies on the 'little people' while a select few are profiting from it. It appears that the general populace are subjects of and subject to the whims of the few. Perhaps the BBC will help out should things become overbearing.
This was simply a blog post and not meant to disparage the people of the UK in any way. I was being sympathetic to their plight.
Here in the US we also have problems with the current ruler and appointed ruling 'class', but that hopefully be rectified in a few months time. Like the UK, we have a failing energy policy at this time. We both have the freedom of the internet, at least as for now, that will allow freedom of thought and communication by the 'little people' such as myself. Let us hope for logical reasoning by the leaders from both sides of the pond in the future. That is change I can hope for.

Careful you don't end up with a Harp..
