Huhne toast?

Guido Fawkes is reporting that incriminating documents relating to Chris Huhne's speeding ticket will be handed over to police.

Could be curtains for Mr Huhne.

Somewhat OT, but ..

BH readers whose curiosity has been piqued by Mary's comment above should start here and work backwards via the links (you'll also need to read the comments to find out who's who). Earlier revelations by Washington's current DeepThroat (e.g., in respect of Daley, Emanuel and Holder) have mostly proved to be accurate.

he cannot say he is trying hard and could do it, just as well, you know, if only some world expert led him all the way.. he is not a proud woman.

he cannot say he was "tired" otherwise he would not hv done this you know. He is not afro carribean.

ha cannot come and explain the matters in a leather thong before the camera's wiggling his little richard and furiously decry: "are you maybe a racist?"..he is not a proud gay.

So the only thing he can do now maybe is burn yet more essence at the obama shrine and wrap himself in a Mandela shroud and be very very sorry he'll be a good boy now and always chose the proper side when old women want something (more of other people's money to coordinate their faux-essential services)
that will maybe get him off the hook of the (grotesquely) taxoverpaidfor public meejah at the service of the champagne left.

mdgnn "It'll be interesting seeing which way the aristocracy jumps:"

whichever way the banksters want them to jump, unless of course they really want to address their "breach of their historical duty" in which case they would have to act more like King Henry VII, Queen Mary I, or indeed Queen Elizabeth I, who all tried to wrestle control of our money supply from the banksters by issuing debt free money. Unfortunately the banksters financed Oliver Cromwell to sort out QE1st, quite successfully.

I note that Cameron has been quoted as saying he has 'confidence' in Chris Huhne.
Not 'absolute confidence' or even 'every confidence'...
Seems to me like the political version of: 'wha'evah'...

The Telegraph has printed an apology for the Odone artcle;

"...that Chris Huhne MP had leaked a letter about the new royal yacht to journalists in an attempt to discredit colleagues. We now accept that this is wrong, and apologise to Mr Huhne..."

So he leaked it but not in an attempt to discredit colleagues. I suppose if they had no evidence of *attempt* then they would have to apologise. What next: I did offload my speeding points but not in an attempt to break the law?

It will be very interesting to see the decision of the CPS. They can't realistically say that it's not in the public interest to pursue the case, when it involves a Cabinet Minister (allegedly) perverting the course of justice. And they shouldn't be able to use the time delay as an excuse, as they seem to have been, at least partially, responsible from this. Hopefully, even if they do decide not to prosecute, there will be enough evidence unearthed in the process to finish Huhne's political career.

In all of this perhaps everyone is missing the point of who the CPS is, what his views are and who appointed him. Under all normal circumstances this case would have gone to court by now. But in my view the CPS is finding reasons not to pursue it, and perhaps not for the obvious reasons.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2090161/Chris-Huhnes-ex-wife-Vicky-Pryce-spoke-police-speeding-points-case.html

'It is understood that Ms Briscoe, one of Britain’s first black female judges, held detailed conversations with Ms Pryce just weeks after the speeding offence was committed.

Ms Briscoe advised mother-of-five Ms Pryce, a former senior Government economist, to tell the Liberal Democrat Cabinet Minister to tell police what had happened'
