A letter in today's Torygraph:-
"SIR – “The Prime Minister must ask himself whether he is man or mouse,” says Tim Yeo. Or, put another way, if the Prime Minister reneges on his earlier promises then, by the Yeo yardstick, he’s a “man”, but keeping his word makes him a “mouse”.
It says a great deal about Mr Yeo and his parliamentary ethics.

Please, would someone post a paragraph synopsis of the scandal for the benefit of those west of the Pond.
I gather that Yeo is at the trough of both the Wind Energy industry and the Eurotunnel power conduit to suppliment the energy that windmills DON'T produce. If correct, that's juicy! This one is hot off the press! I announced yesterday on BH that Yeo had been granted 458,333 1 penny shares in TMO renewables during 2011 and also that if the company does well and the ordinary share price reaches £0.60 then he will make £240,000.
What I found out today is that these shares are not mentioned in "Member's Interests" on the parliament website ^.^

Briefly, Tim Yeo is a Conservative Minister in the House of Commons, government, 'Dave' Cameron is the Prime Minister, leader of the Conservative party. The government currently consists of a coalition of two political parties Conservatives and Liberal Democrats who are starting to fall out about policy as each tries to get some brownie points for their individual policies ready for elections in 2015. Some Conservative Ministers, Tim Yeo included, are trying to push their party, the Conservatives, into a more brutal position of killing off Liberal Democrat policies whilst invigorating their hard core supporters, this includes forcing the hand of their leader the Prime Minister, 'Man or Mouse reference'.
Unfortunately for Tim Yeo his intentions to stimulate the Conservatives are also secondary to his own greed and leave him open to scrutiny in his influence on Climate Change decisions by the government whist also receiving payments from private companies benefiting from such decisions. This is now becoming an embarrassment for the Conservatives who are due a Ministerial reshuffle in the Autumn. Perhaps the Prime Minister could have been prodded too far by the indiscreet Tim Yeo, we shall see!
Josh is getting sharp as a cleaver.
Lord B, Yeo is not a Minister. He is a back bencher who happens to be Chairman of the Commons Select Committee on Energy and Climate Change. The man should be sacked. He can hardly claim to be unbiased given his business interests. Great cartoon by Josh - says it all, really - snouts and troughs.....perfect. This should be published in every newspaper in the land and on every blog. Whether it would be enough to cause Yeo sufficient embarrassment to resign as Chairman of the Committee, at the very least, remains to be seen, but I don't think he has any honour or shame. Cameron should get rid of the creep as fast as possible. And when he's done that, he should make Gummer fall on his sword too.
I thought Blair and his mob were awful, but this is too much. Mind you, I will never forgive Brown for wrecking our economy. "No more boom and bust", my ar$e.

As an aside, if I'd suggested to my boss (I'm retired now, thankfully) that, in my opinion, he must decide whether he's 'man or mouse', I would fully expect my P45 to be in the internal mail next morning....

Cameron should roll up Yeo's P45, place it gently in Yeo's mouth and then pop him in the oven for an hour or two hehe.
