The BBC is anti-Christian and ageist – according to a survey it carried out itself.

The survey was conducted as part of the BBC’s ‘Diversity Strategy’ and involved 4,500 people, including some BBC staff.

Some viewers still believe the broadcaster has a Left-wing or ‘liberal bias’, the consultation found.

Others said ‘positive discrimination’ was still a ‘notable’ problem with the BBC’s recruitment process.

According to viewers, Christians are badly treated with ‘derogatory stereotypes’ which portray them as ‘weak’ or ‘bigoted’.

A BBC spokesman said: ‘The BBC does not have an anti-Christian bias.

I can't wait to see the outcome of the next investigation ito bias at the BBC.

From JoNova blog c19 May.

Perhaps there is enough food being grown, maybe it is being put to the wrong use: Here is Jo's comment:

First do no harm?

Speaking of starvation, while nearly half a million people die from a lack of food each year, some 6.5% of the worlds grains, and 8% of the vegetable oils are now fed to cars instead of people. Arguably action against climate change is a net killer, and we’d save people by doing nothing at all to stop carbon dioxide emissions.

Here's a summary of last night's episode of "All Watched Over by Machines of Love and Grace":

And I'm told that "Lord" Stern was also on Radio 4, ramping up the alarmism.

Radio 4 is pulling out all the stops this morning re climate change. More Oxfam predictions about food prices due to climate change at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-13597657. Richard Black in full flow about not meeting emissions targets. "Global carbon emissions reach record, says IEA" at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-13595174. It's all aimed at the climate meeting in Bonn next week.

I too watched "All Watched Over By Machines of Loving Grace". "Limits to Growth" and all those nonsense predictions based on faulty computer models.

woodentop:

"All Watched Over By Machines of Loving Grace, now (BBC2). Tackling the growth of the greenies from the 1960s (and earlier), Club of Rome, Gaia etc. Very interesting. Worth catching on iPlayer."

I was just going to say the same thing. What a fascinating program. I didn't know BBC2 showed programs like that any more. Essential viewing.
